In Morro D'Oro, in the heart of the green hills of the Teramo area, stands the Montecchia Olive Oil Mill. In the summertime, you will have the opportunity to reach the olive grove, amidst the scents of the vegetable garden, by taking a ride on a campagnola (jeep) or on foot. The trip through the silvery olive leaves leads to the top of the hill, where you can enjoy a unique and exciting view, with the sea in front of you and the Gran Sasso behind.
If arranged in advance and depending on the availability of the teacher, there is the possibility of a Yoga practice under the olive trees, suitable for everyone.
After the walk, it is back to the olive oil mill for a guided tour of the production facilities, where an expert will explain the important steps needed to obtain a quality olive oil and especially to preserve all the nutraceutical properties as much as possible.
The Olive Oil Sommelier will guide us in tasting "al bicchierino" to learn how to recognize the strengths and weaknesses of an olive oil and become more aware of the product we bring to our tables every day.
Finally, we will be able to taste the company's different olive oils, paired with the best freshly harvested products from the garden that this wonderful land offers us.
The experience is suitable for everyone, adults and children. We recommend comfortable clothing and shoes appropriate for the countryside.
