Come discover the Costa dei Trabocchi, the place that inspired Gabriele D'Annunzio.
As you ride along the coast on a bike, you will have the chance to admire the Trabocchi, ancient fishing machines, which are now restaurants where you can enjoy typical local dishes.
You will experience the beauty of the sea and of the many nature reserves.
TOUR 1
Ortona - Punta Aderci
We will ride along the bike path to discover the Costa dei Trabocchi, passing through San Vito, Fossacesia and Torino di Sangro. We will take a detour inland to the Lecceta nature reserve, where we will make a brief stop for a water refill. Continuing on the path we will pass through a grove that will take us to Vasto where we will be able to admire Punta Aderci, a regional nature reserve since 1998. We will then make a long stop for lunch. We will return on the same route.

- 8:00 a.m.: meeting
- 8:30 a.m.: departure
- 4:00 p.m. approx. end of the activity

TOUR 2
Ortona-Lecceta Nature Reserve
We will ride along the bike path, discovering the Costa dei Trabocchi passing through San Vito and Fossacesia, until we reach Torino di Sangro, where we will take a detour inland. We will ride along the Sangro River until we reach the entrance of the Lecceta di Torino di Sangro Nature Reserve, which gained this status in 2001. We will make a brief stop to admire the local flora and fauna. We will continue the tour inside the reserve. We will return on the same route.
DURATION:
- 8:00 a.m.: meeting at Blue Bike in Ortona
- 8:30 a.m.: departure
- 1:00 p.m. approx. end of activity.
COST: € 35 per person
